WHO AM I

Who am I,
I ask this question from my heart,
A sinner like me,
Not worthy of anything,
Made from dust,
With a breath that's not even mine?





Who am I,
That I want to run and hide,
Going astray from your will,
Leaving what you want me to do,
Doing what you don't want me to do,
Hardening my heart to your Word?


Who am I,
That I do what I feel like,
Refusing to hear your call,
Denying ever knowing you,
Betraying your trust in me,
Creating a gap through sin?





Who am I,
That am intimidating you,
Blaming you,
Criticizing you,
Degrading you and 
Ashaming you?  




Who am I,
That despite it all,
You died for me,
Forgave me,
Love me,
And have a good plan for me?


Who am I, 
That you changed me,
Transformed my heart,
Renewed my mind,
Called me by your name,
And made me your friend?





Who am I,
That you hear me when I call,
Catch me when I fall,
Meet all my needs,
Answer all my prayers,
And show me the way?


Who am I,
That you've accepted me as I am,
Delivered me from sin,
Saved me from destruction,
Called me in your Kingdom and 
Named me as your Child?




  I am yours Jesus!!!
