THE SON OF GOD

He is the KING of kings,

Conceived by the Holy spirit, 

Born in a manger by a virgin,

His Name is Emmanuel which means God with us,

An angle said He would be King of Jews,

But Herod would not accept this, 

When they plotted to kill Him, 

Thy would not succeed,

If they only knew, He was the Son of God.

He did not give into temptation,

But overcame it all,

He changed water into wine,

Raised the dead,

 Healed the sick,

Gave sight to the blind,

 Made the lame walk, 

Made the deaf hear,

And many more miracles,

Yet they couldn't believe Him,

 If they only knew, He was the Son of God.

He could not give up,

When His disciples forsook Him and fled,

And was held captive like a robber, 

BUT continued with His Ministry of salvation,

And when he was brought before the council,

 They sought false testimony but couldn't find any,

When asked to confess His identity, He did,

They said it was blasphemy so He deserved death,

  If they only knew, He was the Son of God.

He had made up His mind,

 Not to turn back, but to endure it all, 

In order to accomplish His mission, of saving the world from sin,

So even on the cross He humbled Himself,

As they crucified Him together with two thieves,

And ridiculed Him saying,

''He saved others let him save himself''

But His only cry was,

''Father forgive them for they do not know what they are doing'' 

 If they only knew, He was the Son of God. 

And on the third day,

The grave couldn't hold Him,

As he rose up from the dead,

And made it known to many people, 

That He is the Messiah,

And He is Alive,
 Highly exalted and glorified,

Sitting at His Holy Thrown,

Calling all to Salvation,

And giving them everlasting life,

Truly He is the Son of God.
